Scarlett and DeekStevie and BobRuth and Jo

Bob woke up in the portable building with Michelle. He said he'd be back, and sneaked back home. Unfortunately for him, he was caught by Scarlett who had found Deek passed out, drunk, at the bottom of the back stairs, and was trying to wake him up. He refused to move so, helped by Kelly and Stevie, she threw a bucket of water over him. Kelly tried to help Deek up, but jumped away from him when he tried to grab her. At the police station, DCI Hunter interviewed both Jo and Ruth. Ruth refused to sign the confession he'd written for her. He tried to play the sisters off against each other, but each refused to blame the other and stuck to the story that it was an accident. Heather told Scarlett that the equipment for the DVD copying business would arrive tomorrow, and asked her to clear out the building in preparation.

At the Adams's, Deek lay on the couch sleeping off his hangover. In the kitchen, Stevie teased Bob about the fact he'd been out all night, then both the boys had a dig at Kelly for fancying Deek. Deek listened in from the other room with a smile on his face, but was hurt when Kelly said although Deek was a mate, she thought he was pathetic, and she'd only helped him out of pity. At the cafe, Alice asked Scarlett about Deek, and Scarlett told her about him being drunk. Scarlett tried to reassure Alice, but Alice began to worry whether she would ever repair her relationship with Deek. Kelly asked Deek if he wanted a juice to help his hangover, but he told her to stop pretending she cared. George continued to ignore Shirley, and she told him if he carried on like this, he'd end up a sad old man.

Frank McKenna's assistant, Gerry, took a call from his boss telling him to take over his cases because Frank had gone away for a while. Jo was taken back to the cells. Ruth said she would do anything to make up for what she'd done and would give up her bid for Franco. Gerry arrived at the prison and took the girls to the hospital, where Scott told Ruth she'd better be for real. Deek told Scarlett he would never get as plastered as that again. He said he would sort his life out, but said there was no place for his family in his future. Scarlett went over to clean the building. Bob tried to stop her, but she was horrified to find Michelle sleeping rough. Michelle said she had been kicked out by her folks and had lost the baby. At the hospital, the Rossis were told that the next 24 hours were critical for Gina.
