Scott told Ruth he wasn't joking about their friendship being over, and that he no longer knew who she was- she certainly wasn't the Ruth Rossi he knew. Ruth phoned Gina and begged her to pick the phone up, but Gina ignored her. Bob asked Ruth to make an appointment for Michelle to see Vinnie, and told Michelle she was going to the doctor whether she liked it or not. Eileen saw Vinnie looking distressed and asked him what was up. He said he was under pressure and that his Dad was coming to visit. He explained that his Dad was a hugely successful doctor and that Vinnie always felt pressure to live up to his standards.

Deek tried to convince Bob to go and get drunk with him, but Bob told him to sort himself out. Later, Kelly Marie found a guttered Deek drinking vodka in the street, and helped him home, watched by Alice from across the street. Scarlett reassured Alice, and told her that Deek would get over it soon, and in the meantime was at least with people who would watch out for him. Alanna acted like she was Scott's best pal, although he didn't seem convinced. Scott voiced his suspicions to Vader, who said that Alanna was alright, and that she's just had a hard time lately. Scott still seemed wary of Alanna.

Ray told Alanna she should phone her mum. She eventually agreed and made the call as Ray listened in. However, Ray didn't realise that Alanna was talking to a dead line. Callum and Eileen went out for a meal. Eileen offered to pay, which annoyed Callum, but, when his card was declined, she had to settle the bill anyway. He stormed out, leaving an unimpressed Eileen sitting by herself. Michelle went to visit Vinnie. He recognised her as one of the girl gang, and assumed that she was there on Zoe's behalf. Thinking she was part of Zoe's plan to frame him, he told Michelle he knew what she was doing. However, she thought that he was talking about her giving the baby to Della and ran out in tears.
