Eileen offered to talk to Ruth. Della was left shaken by Michelle turning up at the baby-naming ceremony. She asked Billy to track Michelle down and find out what she's up to. Mac told Alice it was ridiculous to keep quiet about their relationship. He confessed to telling Gina, then Alice said she'd told Shirley - surely it's only a matter of time before George finds out. Meanwhile, Derek discussed his mum and Mac's relationship with Bob and Kelly Marie. Alanna received a mystery phone call, which was overheard by Scott. She acted rather strange and upset when he asked her who it was. Della took Cormac for a chat after he broke down in tears over his split with Jo.

Billy tracked down Bob to ask him where Michelle was. Bob stuck up for himself and Michelle when Billy's behaviour turned threatening. Eileen tried to talk to Ruth, but her opinion fell on deaf ears as usual. Heather and McCabe decided to make Billy sweat a little. George was ready to erupt during an argument with Shirley about his mood swings. A brave Shirley dropped in the fact that she knew about Moira's affair and it looked like George might combust - but he stormed out on Shirley instead. McCabe humiliated Billy by asking him to copy DVDs. He was raging, but Della suggested that he just get on with the job to keep McCabe on side.

Later, Alanna was late for her shift at the Tall Ship. Hazel caught her dashing back in from a shift at the club, but Alanna was still clad in an outfit that would not be classed as 'daywear'. Alanna lied by saying she had a secret boyfriend and then stashed away her 'work outfit' in a hiding place. Billy found Michelle. He warned her to stay away from Della and Olivia, or else. After another threat from Zoe, an anxious Vinnie tried his best to persuade the powers that be that he needs a 'special order'. But they wouldn't authorise it, so what will he do now? Alanna dashed into the bar to start her shift (late), only to be greeted by the mystery phone caller in the flesh: her mum from Aberdeen.
