Hazel returned home to Shieldinch. She was slightly miffed at some of Roisin's changes to the bar, but happy to be back anyway. Billy was trying to inject a bit of romance back into his relationship with Della. He was sick of playing second fiddle to baby Olivia. First he charmed Della with some flowers and then persuaded her to have a romantic dinner out with him. Alice told Shirley about Moira's affair with Mac. Gina and Jo went to see their (dodgy) lawyer, McKenna, to get some advice on what to do about Ruth. He offered to make the problem 'go away', but Jo was confident that her sister would back down soon enough. Meanwhile, Ruth put in another call to the social worker…

…Ruth met Sally, the social worker, again, but this time she was armed with a bunch of newspaper clippings about Jo. Cormac was raging at her, but fortunately he had the opportunity to offer his side of the story to the social worker too. Eileen was all loved-up with Callum. A gloomier Gina was pleased for her sister, but really starting to feel the weight of recent family events. Malcolm had a few choice words for his daughter and said he wasn't surprised by Ruth's behaviour, especially since Gina had always favoured Jo. Vader was left red-faced as Alanna saw him returning from a shower. It seemed she wasn't perturbed by Hazel's return when it came to flirting with Vader.

Shirley was left holding the baby while Della and Billy headed to The Grill together. However, romance was certainly not on the menu for Billy once Della started to talk about Olivia again, and in particular the chat about holding a baby-naming ceremony. Later, Alanna apologised to Vader for her flirty behaviour. She promised that it wouldn't happen again now that Hazel was back, and even turned on the tears to make him feel really sorry for her. Zoe cornered Vinnie again in the surgery - she'd had enough of his excuses and time was up. Vinnie was so eager to get on with his own 'fix', that he gave in to Zoe's demands and supplied the drugs she was looking for.
