Zoe and the girl gang spotted Jo having her picture taken, so they decided to cause trouble. A fight broke out and the photographer caught Jo hitting Zoe. Michelle returned to Shieldinch. She was distressed about abandoning her baby and ended up crying on Bob's shoulder. Michelle confessed to him that she wanted to see the baby again, so Bob enlisted Alice's help. After some words of wisdom, Alice convinved Billy to let Michelle see her baby. Heather returned to Shieldinch and made it quite clear to Billy that she was back in charge.
Zoe turned up at the surgery, but she didn't have any aches or pains- just a phone full of evidence against the good doctor. Vinnie tried to lie his way out of the situation by saying he was diabetic. Zoe played her trump card: a picture of him out of his face. She blackmailed Vinnie by asking him to supply drugs for her to sell, in exchange for keeping his habit secret. Later, Della was upset when Michelle arrived at the flat with Alice and Bob. After a few words from Billy, Della agreed to let Michelle hold her baby one more time.
The picture of Jo fighting with Zoe appeared in the paper. Fortunately, Susannah had a plan for Jo to tell her side of the story about how the girls had been picking on her grandad. Unfortunately for Jo, Ruth was close by. As soon as Jo's back was turned, Ruth made a move on the reporter with a few facts about her sister. Jo was left devastated by Ruth's act of nastiness. Later, back at the flat, a tearful Jo tried to get Franco's things and explain to Scott what had happened. But before she got chance to leave, Ruth returned home and revealed that she'd applied for custody of Franco.
