Shirley was hoping that Della had come to her senses over the baby, but alas, no. Della was more determined than ever to keep 'Olivia' and all she wanted was some support from her mum, Shirley. She reluctantly agreed to help Della, but was far from happy about the situation. Billy had a bright idea to keep Alice from nagging him: he asked if she'd help to find the baby's mother. Ruth was moaning to anyone who would listen about Jo's neglect of Franco. Billy annoyed Derek when he revealed that Alice's hadn't thrown him out of teh flat, he'd left of his own accord.
Deke was furious at Billy's revelation. He told Alice he'd decided to move in with his dad. Callum made plans to impress Kelly. Roisin asked Kelly to swap bridesmaid dresses with Alanna. Kelly was happy to agree, but the claws were out when the girls bumped into each other and Alanna suggested she'd have to 'take the dress in a little'. Fortunately, Kelly had something to distract her from catty comments; Callum surprised her with a romantic meal at the deli. Eileen was a little annoyed to hear that Vader offered Scott the bar manager's job, even though Scott turned the post down.
Jo arrived home from London armed with a huge cheque for her work. She had plans: the money is to be used as a deposit on a flat for her, Franco and Cormac if he'll forgive her. She was reduced to tears as she begged Cormac for a second chance. When he realised how serious she was, Cormac kissed Jo and they were officially back together. Later, as Scott toasted the happy couple over a drink at the Tall Ship, Ruth's scowl said it all. She was furious and could take no more of the happy family chat. She returned home to report Jo to the authorities for 'systematic neglect' of Franco.
