Della was still adamant about getting Billy's name on a birth certificate for the baby. But Billy was too busy fending off Shirley. Della managed to hide the baby when her mum popped up to the flat. Shirley was determined to discover the truth about Della's 'illness'. Ruth offered Cormac a shoulder to cry on after she heard he'd split from Jo. She took advantage of his vulnerable state to offer him a kiss and the chance to rekindle their relationship. Fortunately, Cormac wasn't that depressed and turned her down nicely. Is Ruth stable enough to handle another rejection?
Roisin decided to pull her money out of the Avalon Harbour development - just wait until George hears about that. Callum was feeling down in the dumps about his budding relationship with Kelly Marie. So, the king of chat-up lines, Bob, gave him some advice about the art of listening to women. Meanwhile, Kelly Marie was offering Stevie some words of wisdom about improving the van business by offering a more varied selection of products. The girl gang were also interested in Stevie offering some 'extras', but they were suggesting things far less tame than phonecards. But will Stevie listen to his sister, or Zoe and the gang?
Alice and Mac got hot and bothered over a cappuccino at the café. At least they agreed on one thing: they both need to be there for their son. However, Mac hit a raw nerve when he suggested that it was Alice who had inner turmoil about the situation, not Derek. Later, Gina and Scarlett had a cosy chat with Mac, but they were left reeling by his revelation that his wife and son had died in a house fire. Shirley turned up unannounced at Della's flat. The very last thing she expected to find was a wee baby crying in a cot. Della was left speechless as Shirley cradled the baby and demanded to know what on earth was going on
