Hazel and Vader discussed plans for the future of the pub. All the talk of changes gave Eileen itchy feet and she wondered if it was time to move on from Shieldinch. Roisin and her bridesmaids shrieked with delight over their dresses, except for Alanna who was gutted that her dress was 'off the peg'. She turned on the tears, so Roisin agreed to ask Kelly Marie to swap dresses. Was that a smug smile that appeared across Alanna's face? Ray was gobsmacked to see Shirley clearing away pictures of his mother, but he was even more surprised to hear that his father had asked for them to be removed.
Jo showed signs of having a conscience about rejecting Cormac in favour of a life in the spotlight. However, Susannah managed to persuade Jo that it was fine to enjoy her fifteen minutes of fame. Alice confessed to Roisin that she was afraid of losing Deke again. Roisin encouraged (read: nagged) Ray to help mend bridges with Mac. Later on Ray spoke to Mac, but Ray was so uncomfortable with with the situation that he blurted out what Alice had said. Mac was raging at Alice and told her so, out loud in the pub. Roisin's face said it all: well done Ray.
The girl gang trashed Malcolm's yard. Later, as Scarlett and Malcolm tried to tidy the yard, they were cornered by the gang and an angry, vengeful Zoe, who thought Malcolm had shopped her to the police. It all turned very nasty. As Scarlett tried to defend herself and Malcolm, a knife was pulled and held at her throat. For a moment it seemed liked it was all over for Scarlett, but she was saved by a knight in shining armour: well, Mac in a corduroy jacket. Mac kicked the knife away and knew exactly how to handle Zoe. A startled girl gang fled the scene and for the time being, Malcolm might be safe
