George was melancholy after scattering Moira's ashes. However he did have something to celebrate: Shirley agreed to move in with him. Later, as the drinks flowed in the Tall Ship, George began to rant on about Mac, to a sober Alice. It really wasn't an ideal time for Mac to walk in for a 'quiet drink' and George was all up for a fist fight with him. Fortunately, George couldn't have punched his way out of a paper bag in his state, but Mac did the decent thing and left the bar, but not before having a word or two with angry George.
Eileen was concerned about how things were going with Vinnie. Gina offered some words of encouragement to her sister, but Hazel suggested she 'glammed herself up a bit', which left Eileen feeling slightly paranoid. Hazel arranged a night out with Alanna, but only to please Roisin. Bob deserved a medal for his sterling peace work in Shieldinch, as he managed to reunite Kelly Marie and Scarlett. After a few choice words from her brother, Kelly Marie headed to the café to give her mum a big hug.
Eileen talked to Ruth about their argument at Franco's party. They made friends and Eileen agreed that everyone can help look after Franco, the burden shouldn't just rest with Ruth. Will she agree to that though? Della lashed out at Billy when he suggested that they couldn't keep Michelle's baby. She revealed that she isn't pregnant from her sleazy encounter with Lewis. As far as Della's concerned, it's payback time. She wants to keep the baby and Billy owes her - big time.
