Deke was annoyed that Alice was letting Billy stay at the flat. Della was run down after recent events so she decided to go on a wee break, leaving Shirley in charge of the salon. Speaking of Shirley, Ray had some concerns about how quickly her relationship with his dad was progressing. Stevie was fuming when Billy assumed he was the garage boss now that Lewis has gone. Vinnie shocked Eileen with a passing comment about the love between them. Malcolm's roses were the latest victim of the girl gang of Shieldinch.
A game of 'pass the baby Franco parcel' was still going on. Cormac was beginning to lose patience with Jo as was still seething about her lying in court. Hazel and Vader returned from Vegas as Mr and Mrs Campbell. There to greet them was Eileen with her wedding present of a bed, closely followed by Bob with his gift of a washing-up set - nice! But Bob was only giving to receive: he wanted Hazel to agree to let him use Tommy's boatshed for the garage business. It must still be the honeymoon period, because she said yes.
Billy got right into the swing of dodgy things, as he waited for his first 'delivery', which turned out to be alcohol, though we suspect it may have fallen from a lorry. Bob had a few kind words to cheer Scarlett up, as Stevie was still refusing to speak to his mum after her snog with Billy. Jo was hunted down by a Susannah, a PR woman, who assured Jo that the media world was her oyster. Never one to turn down an opportunity to talk about herself, Jo leapt on the idea, although Cormac was decidedly grumpy about the whole thing.
