The gossip was flying around Shieldinch about Heather's decision to blame Jo for the murder. Steph was particularly interested in the events that were unfolding and Gina was still trying to persuade Heather to see sense - but to no avail. Ray arrived home after his secret visit to Aberdeen. Eileen tried to make him think again about his plans to bring Roisin's daughter to Shieldinch. Mac was raging when Billy sacked Deek. After a war of words, Billy responded with a thump and left Mac with a bloody nose.
As if Gina's not got enough on her plate, Ruth was moaning to her that Jo was a bad mother who'd neglected to take Franco for his jabs. Scott wasn't interested in hearing Ruth's opinion either and gave her a piece of his mind. Ruth later apologised to Scott for her recent episode of madness, but he told her it'll be a while before they're good friends again. Heather met her dodgy lawyer who announced his plans to 'sort out' the witness. Billy fixed a date for Della to meet Lewis and make beautiful babies.
Meanwhile, Jo's lawyer assured her that she had nothing to worry about. Ruth told Jo that she was being naïve about what might happen and even threw in a comment about Franco's jabs. Eileen wasn't happy to hear Hazel's news. Undeterred, Hazel told Vader she wants to get married in Vegas, baby. One problem though: Vader doesn't have a passport. Speaking of weddings; Malcolm got down on one knee to propose to Shirley. Too late for her to tell him how she really feels then?
