Alice got a big fright, and poor George's worst fears were realised as Graeme came looking for his newly discovered offspring. George had let Graeme into the house and was about to chuck him out when Alice appeared. It can't be long now till Deek meets him. Deek himself seemed oddly quiet about his trip to London, and Bob finally snapped when having to clean dog mess from a council van for Lewis.

The pub quiz was a disaster. When it became clear that Eileen was using questions from a game that she and Ray used to play, meaning Ray was getting all the answers, Vinnie took over and asked a load of medical questions. This didn't go down well, Eileen cancelled the quiz, and the bar had to stand everyone a free drink to prevent a riot. She and Vinnie had a wee lovers' tiff over it too.

Malcolm had a hot date with Shirley. Unfortunately the heat took the form of Shirley's spicy cooking rather than any old-age passion, and he caused a scare when he took a bit of a turn. Vinnie was called round and diagnosed heartburn. He left with saucy Eileen, who quickly took him down a side street for some kiss and make up and led him off with a big cheesy grin on his face.
