The other big date was between Eileen and the doc. She got all dolled up, but they ended up pushing the car. A passing mechanical genius (Bob) fixed it in exchange for cash. They saw the funny side and made another date. Grief-stricken George went to see Alice about the mystery ring-giver. She eventually confessed - turns out she knows the guy in question pretty well as they'd slept together! Like mother, like daughter…
