Della saw Deke watching as the police examined the wreck of her car. She told him she was sorry about his Gran, and told him not to come back to work until he felt ready. When Della got to the salon, she was furious to see Kelly Marie turn up for work as if nothing had happened. However, Kelly turned on the tears and told Della that she hadn't known Billy was married, and that they were both his victims and should stick together. Della felt sorry for Kelly and let her keep her job…

Meanwhile, the Hendersons were struggling to deal with Moira's death. George was inconsolable, and blamed Brian, despite the fact that nobody knew exactly what had happened as Brian was still in hospital. He argued with Raymond, and said that he should never have allowed Brian to come into his house. Deke was desperate to talk to a friend, so he called Hazel. There was no answer from her mobile, and he began to get more and more worried that something had happened to her.

At the salon, Billy was horrified to find that Della was backing Kelly Marie against him. Kelly was happy to still have her job, and gossiped with Shazia. Shazia asked Kelly how the pregnancy was going, and Kelly said that the baby was kicking already- which surprised Shazia who said it was very early for that. Deke was getting frantic.
