Jo was back in prison after skipping bail, and Gina and Ruth worried about Franco being without his mum. Deke had a go at Lewis for thinking Alice and Billy were an item. Billy turned up at the surgery for his fertility test. He met Alice, and offered to help at the drop in centre on Christmas Day. Ruth spoke to Heather to try and get her to help Jo. Brian was dismayed to learn that Hazel was going up to Ewan's for Christmas and New Year.

Scott got the all clear and Stevie suggested they spend Christmas together. Scott was worried about Paddy's reaction, but said yes. Paddy and Bob stopped at Roisin's shop to buy some beer. Paddy got Bob to pay for it and took some more of his money to bet on a horse. Brian found Hazel in his hiding place. She told him she wanted to go but he wouldn't let her and texted Ewan from Hazel's phone to say she wasn't coming.

Roisin and Shazia went to Versus, leaving Ray in the shop to fix the heating. Heather was acting strangely, and eventually chucked everyone out. Kelly Marie told Della she was pregnant, but didn't say who the father was. Heather went round to see Gina and Ruth. She talked about Marcus and eventually broke down and admitted she had killed him. She thought that Ruth and Gina had known all along.
