Scarlett was delighted when Paddy, her husband, came home from prison. Bob took him on a tour of Shieldinch. Scarlett warned Stevie to keep Scott out of Paddy's way. Scott insisted it would not be a problem as he would pretend to be straight. Jo wondered whether she had done the right thing by running away. Back at home, Gina and Ruth were desperate for news.

Stevie and Scott met Paddy and Bob in the pub. Paddy realised Scott was gay and had a go at Stevie for hanging round with him. Later, Stevie told Scott he was going to tell Paddy about their relationship but Scott wondered if it was a good idea. Lewis decided to leave Alice's for a few days to sort his head out. Alice was surprised to realise she didn't want him to stay. Despite Cormac's warnings, Jo phoned her mum when Cormac was out.

Kelly Marie and Hazel decided to go out, and discussed their problems with men whilst getting ready at Hazel's. On their way out into town, they saw Billy and Della in The Ship. Kelly told Hazel she was going to sort Billy out, and went over to give him some good news - she was pregnant and he was the father. Meanwhile, Jo told Cormac she wanted to go back home, but it was too late. The police had traced her call.
