Jo and Cormac were hiding in a hotel. Stevie was due to pick Scott up from hospital, but was surprised to see him return alone in a taxi. Scott told Stevie he couldn't handle being in a relationship and it was over between them. Lewis showed signs of jealousy over Alice's relationship with Billy. Scarlett told Stevie that Scott would need him around and advised him to patch things up.

In the salon, Kelly Marie asked Della what she thought of Billy's infidelity. Della told her she wasn't bothered about "silly wee lassies" because she knew that Billy would always come back to her. Ruth tried to get Scott to talk, but he said he didn't want to burden any of his friends with his illness. Stevie showed up and told Scott that he loved him and would be there for him.

Billy asked Alice for advice about the situation with Kelly Marie. Lewis spotted Alice and Billy talking in Billy's car, and went mad, dragging Alice out of the car and thumping Billy. Della and Kelly Marie came out of the shop to see what the fuss was about. It was obvious from Della's face that she also thought something was going on between Billy and Alice.
