Della was stressed about the salon, but was unaware that Billy was asking for a loan extension for all the equipment. A new doctor, Vinnie Shar, arrived in Shieldinch. Ruth and Stevie were concerned for Scott's health, after he failed to stay in hospital for his operation. Jo was due to be released on bail. Ray was annoyed when he discovered that Roisin was planning to buy the Malik shop.

George was against Dr Shar's plans to have a drop-in centre in Shieldinch. Brian stole some more of Hazel's belongings. Billy was raging when he discovered that Della had recruited Kelly Marie. Cormac brought Jo home from prison. Jo told Cormac she intended to skip bail and leave Shieldinch, as she didn't want to go back to prison. He tried to talk her out of it, but she was adamant.
