Eileen tried to explain to Hazel that she had no choice but to sell her share of the pub. Hazel tried to get Ewan to help her buy Eileen out but he told her while she was young she should not get tied down. Ray's sale of slimming belts wasn't going well until Kelly Marie stepped in to help him and they sold the lot. Gina asked Jo if she was anything to do with Ruth's breakup. Jo said she loved Cormac but she couldn't hurt Ruth.

Kelly Marie persuaded Ray to give her a permanent job. Ray discovered that the slimming belts were dangerous, but left Roisin alone at the shop to deal with the angry customers. Gina tried to talk to Heather about Marcus. For a minute, it looked as if Heather might believe her but then she told Gina to leave her alone. Marcus later told Heather not to listen to Gina as she was sad and lonely.

Roisin caught Ray out- he was hiding in the flat pretending to be in a business meeting. She demanded that he sort out the mess with the slimming belts. Ewan left Shieldinch without saying goodbye, leaving a note for Hazel. Eileen told Ray to apologise to Roisin. Roisin wasn't impressed, but he won her over in the end. Meanwhile there was a new arrival in Shieldinch…
