Ruth caught Brian smoking a joint and confiscated his stash. Ruth was looking forward to the nurses' party but when Cormac said he didn't want to go, she was disappointed. Jo offered to go with her and check out the talent. Hana was having problems with Karim. She wanted to make things right but he wouldn't talk to her. Scott came looking for Stevie, but he pretended that he wasn't in and later blanked him in the street.

Jo and Ruth went to the beauty salon in preparation for their night out and found Roisin run off her feet. Luckily Kelly Marie, who was looking for a job, was there to lend a hand and Roisin decided to give her a trial. Moira realised Brian was taking drug. Alice confided to Roisin that she was thinking of asking Lewis to move in with her. Ewan came back from Inverness, to the delight of Hazel.
