Lily was back in Shieldinch and shocked to discover her flat was occupied. Scarlett tried to talk her way out of it but Lily wasn't fooled and told them she'd be back with the police. She later relented, however, after a chat with Roisin convinced her they needed the place and she agreed to rent it out to them. Hazel was concerned as Deke did not seem enthusiastic about seeing her. Brian received his parcel- a tiny camera- and installed it in Hazel's room. He was watching when Deke came to visit her and was delighted to see that things didn't go well.

Things continued to be strained at the Malik household. Shazia tried to make an effort but Hana was having none of it and also refused to talk to Karim. Brian taunted Deke about Hazel and again said he'd slept with her. When Deke confronted Hazel she finally came clean and said it was true. George got his credit card statement and was shocked to see a charge for something he didn't recognise. It was Brian's camera, but Brian diverted attention by commenting on Malcolm's friendship with Moira.

Shazia offered Zara a shoulder to cry on and gave her some advice. Lily's feelings towards the Adams turned sour when she discovered that her ring was missing. She gave them 24 hours to find it. Zara announced she was finished with Bob and that she was going to Aberdeen. Hana was delighted until she discovered that Shazia had played a part in her decision.
