BrianShazia and KarimMarcus

The police thought that Franco was probably in Helen's hire car. Cormac spotted the car in the hotel car park but his excitement was short lived when he saw someone driving it away. He chased after the car, stopped the thief, and found Franco in the boot, much to everyone's relief. Zara was feeling upset so Hazel decided to give her a makeover. Little did they know that Brian was outside with his binoculars doing some bird watching- and not birds of the feathered kind.

Scarlett told Roisin that Bob needed money for an operation, and she obliged by writing a large cheque to pay for it. Bob couldn't live with that and told Scarlett that she had to give the money back. Later he realised Roisin had known all along what Scarlett was up to. Karim received a visitor, his second wife, Shazia. She told him Ichbal had been killed in a car crash and she had nowhere to go. Everything would be fine as long as Hana didn't find out…

Ewan said that he'd been feeling trapped by Helen and that being in Shieldinch had given him a taste of freedom. However, he realised he was not wanted and that it was time to move on. Hazel asked him to wait at least until Eileen got back. Marcus came to check on Franco and was still there when Scott and Gina arrived. She told him to stay away from her family, but it didn't look like he'd taken the hint. Hana discovered that Karim and Shazia had married.
