Moira was paranoid that everyone was talking about her outburst in the Tall Ship. George went to see Alice, as she'd woken with a hangover and Lewis refused to help her. Ewan and Jo kissed, and then arranged to go out to dinner. Lewis still couldn't summon the courage to call the HIV counselling line. Marcus attempted to contact Gina, but she avoided his calls.

Scarlett told Zara she didn't like her or her family. They had a vicious argument as Scarlett warned Zara about taking Bob to Aberdeen. Zara talked to Hazel about the situation and decided that it would be best if she went alone for her first year at university. Later, Bob was devastated when Zara told him and he consoled himself by going on a drinking binge. Hazel was freaked out when she discovered that Brian's caravan was covered in pictures of her.
