Deke, Hazel, Zara and Bob received their exam results. Hana and Karim were disappointed with Zara's results and blamed Bob. Ruth was annoyed that Scott had agreed to take Dan back. She disagreed that an open relationship would be good for Scott. Later, Scott caught Dan in bed with another man, but he reacted angrily. He threw Dan out of the flat, forcing him to run through Montego Street naked.

Zara and Bob talked about a future together and how they could afford it. Hana and Scarlett accosted Bob and Zara, to persuade them to end their relationship. Scott was evicted from his business premises. Bob enlisted Deke's help to move a cherry picker to Zara's window. He wanted Zara to know how much she means to him. He declared his love for her and held out a diamond ring as he proposed marriage.

Heather revealed to Scott that she'd accidentally told the landlord that he was sub-letting his office. Ruth was furious at Heather. Roisin quizzed Ray about love to find out what his ideal woman would be like. Gina turned down a date with Marcus to spend some time with Ruth and Jo. Roisin was moved to tears as Ray finally revealed his feelings for her over a romantic tune, and they kissed.
