Roisin was OK, it was JP who was motionless on the floor following the shooting at the salon. Ray and Roisin had no idea what to do about their predicament. Deke accused Alice of stealing money to buy drink. She reacted angrily and started smashing things around the flat. Hana refused to let Karim marry Iqbal's wife. Back in the salon, JP woke up: as it turned out he was only badly injured by the bullet. Brian returned to Shieldinch, without Eileen. Gina agreed to see Marcus McKenzie again.

JP was furious with Roisin for shooting him and demanded that Ray call the rest of the gang to collect him. Ray advised Roisin to leave before the gang arrived, and used the time alone with JP to blackmail him. JP left with his gang, but promised to be back for revenge on Ray. Deke was at the end of his tether with Alice's drinking, and turned to Lewis for help, but he refused. Iqbar threatened to withdraw his financial support from the shop if Karim didn't agree to the marriage.

Alice was desperate for alcohol- she begged Ewan to serve her and even offered her body in exchange for a drink, but he wasn't interested. Lewis rescued Alice from the situation and confessed that he loves her. Deke and Lewis agreed to help Alice get better. Roisin was relieved to see Ray unharmed by JP's gang. However, the bullet had damaged the salon ceiling, and as Roisin and Ray struggled to catch the leaking water they ended up in a passionate embrace.
