Gina and Dr McKenzieNazir and JoTommy

Tommy set about eradicating all traces of Eileen from his life. He started by seeking a buyer for the 'Eileen' boat, but refused to tell Hazel what was bothering him. Meanwhile, Eileen was hiding out at the café, much to Gina's frustration. Dr McKenzie told Jo that the operation on baby Franco went well, even though he'd have to spend a couple of months in hospital to recover. Gina told Eileen to face up to her troubles, so she headed back to the Tall Ship to face the wrath of Tommy.

Bob and Vader conducted tours around the area that the 'Shieldinch strangler' used to live. Despite sharing an intimate kiss with Jo, Nazir decided that he wasn't ready for parenthood. Even though she wanted to play happy families, Jo understood why he was going. They vowed to remain friends and good parents to Franco. Bob tried to apologise to Zara, but she walked away from him, so he confessed that he liked her. Tommy removed his wedding ring and threw it to the floor.

Bryan confessed to Tommy that he knew about Eileen's affair with Lewis Cope. A furious Tommy confronted Eileen, but in temper raised a fist to her. He was shocked at his own reaction and blamed her for destroying his life. Eileen was inconsolable as she sobbed and begged Tommy for forgiveness, but he wasn't interested. A stranger arrived in Monetgo Street by bus, he looked up fondly at the house of the 'Shieldinch strangler'
