Jo and the family were thrilled with the baby. It was Alice's birthday and Lewis bombarded her with flowers and gifts, to apologise for standing her up. Hana was uneasy about visiting the hospital, following her huge fight with Jo before the birth. Hazel got her own back on Kirsty for the fake seances by putting chilli seeds in Kirsty's make-up. Alice was successful at getting the youth worker job.

Ruth had to dissuade the Maliks from visiting Jo and the baby. Hana felt awkward, so confessed to Karim that she had had a dreadful slanging match with Jo. Gina postponed her internet date as she was concerned about Jo and the baby. Lewis kept pursuing Alice with flowers, and Deke was suspicious. Kirsty's eye turned nasty, causing the girls to panic. The baby was taken away for some tests, leaving Jo worried.

Lewis turned up at Alice's meal with tickets to Paris, and some very direct amorous intentions. Ray and Roisin had a curry together, but accidentally ended up watching porn. Karim was fuming about Hana's argument with Jo, and being banned from seeing the baby. Alice and Lewis kissed, so he opened a bottle of champagne to toast them.
