Brian and Deke’s fight was the talk of Shieldinch. Ruth and Cormac spent the night together, much to Jo’s annoyance. Jo made it clear to Cormac that she would tell Ruth the truth. Bob tried to persuade Deke to beat Brian up in revenge for the punch.

Deke decided to leave Brian alone. His mature attitude impressed Hazel. Zara was still trying to decide whether to wear the hijab. She turned to her brother for advice. Nazir told Zara he would support her in anything she does.

The day took its toll on Jo and she turned to drink. Scott told Jo to leave Ruth and Cormac alone to get on with their relationship. Jo broke down in tears and confessed to Scott that she had slept with Cormac. Scott was left speechless by the revelation.
