Jo and Cormac faced the morning after the night before. Jo was feeling so guilty that she wanted to tell Ruth what had happened. Cormac told Jo that he only slept with her out of pity. Meanwhile, unaware of the events of the previous evening, Scott urged Ruth to talk to Cormac.

Hazel and Deke arranged to go out together again, much to Brian and Zara's disapproval. Kirsty flirted with Russ. Nazir agreed to come home for dinner, but stormed off after another argument with his father. Moira bought Ray some underwear for his romantic trip with Heather.

Heather found a possible buyer for the flats. Ray confessed that he needed to sell them quickly as he was finding the repayments hard to meet. Ruth apologised to Cormac for upsetting him, and they decided to give their relationship another chance.
