Moira won a luxury weekend at a London hotel. She suggested George accompany her to meet up with Deke and Alice. George was dismissive, and reluctant to head south with her, claiming she was not well enough to go, so Moira decided to go alone.

Naz was distracted by his mobile ringing as he was driving and as a result he was involved in a car accident. Luckily for Nazir and his passenger, Scott, they were only slightly bruised. The event made Nazir change his attitude towards Jo's pregnancy.

Nazir tried, and failed, to tell his parents of Jo's pregnancy. Gina told Karim and Hana that Jo was expecting Naz's child. Nazir's absence at the scan angered Jo, and she told him he was not be involved in her pregnancy.
