Tommy and Eileen stayed up all night sorting out their marital problems. Tommy decided to pay back Lewis's loan using Hazel's trust fund. Hazel and Deke made up, after finding out that Kirsty had sent a nasty text using Hazel's phone.

Ray speculated on property in Shieldinch, and checked out the estate agent too. Ray told Alice that George had been saying she had done well for herself. Ray organised a table football competition, so that Alice and Deke were united briefly.

Jo told Ruth of Nazir's claim that she would be an unfit mother, so Ruth confronted him. Naz apologised to Jo, but told her once more that she would not be able to cope with a baby. Jo realised the gravity of her situation.
