An article worth keeping.
My brother used to often win bets in Scottish and English pubs when he posed the question of "who won the first World Cup" - he said he always paid for his pints courtesy of that piece of football trivia.
I would like to hear from anyone that had a family member on the famous Renton team or anyone who has a team list.
I would also like to receive 2% of all winning bets resulting from this valuable piece of information - LOL.....

It should be noted that in 1883, following Dumbarton's Scottish Cup win, they played Blackburn Olympic (the new English cup holders) and beat them 6-1, preceeding Renton's achievement by five years. The only difference being that DFC didn't proclaim themselves "World Champions".
