I live in Toronto, Canada I have in my possession Willie Johnston's #16 Game worn Jersey vs Peru. I was wondering if you could give me more info in regards to Willie Johnston, is there any value to this Jersey????
Just to give you some background, my Father was back home in 78 and when Willie was booted from the team he returned home and raffled off the Jersey for charity, my father won it and gave it to me upon returning to Canada. I have had it ever since, never put it on and it has been properly protected from the elements, is there any value to this?????

Terrific article. It doesn't make it clear just how good a side Scotland were at that time. If the World cup had taken place in 1977 we would have been semi finalists. As it is we didn't win but these were great days and judging by the number of 1978 retro tops fans are wearing these days we would love to be dreaming of winning the world cup.
