About Wild Reels

Create random mixes of your ideas with Wild Reels. You might want to generate strange combinations of things for an original storyline or script, or perhaps mix up different words and images to help with product designs or colour palettes.

Step by step guide for Wild Reels
  1. Step 1
    To put ideas into the reels use the tabs in the ideas box to add text or an image, or try a lucky dip for a random image or word.
  2. Step 2
    For text, type into the box then click the tick and put the words into a reel with your mouse. For images, browse to select your own image. When it's in the box, click on it and use the mouse to put it on a reel.
  3. Step 3
    You can label the reels, by clicking on the 'Name It' field. You can delete reels by clicking on the cross and add another using the 'Add Reel' button.
  4. Step 4
    When your ideas are all in, click 'Spin' to see what combination comes up. If you want to keep one of the ideas click 'Hold'. Click again to release the reel.
  5. Step 5
    When you get a combination you like, click 'Finish' for more options.
  6. Step 6
    You can 'Save' these ideas as a jpeg, 'Print' them out or 'Flip' them to another Pinball tool, to do something new with them. Click on the cross if you want to go back to where you were.
Keyboard Controls

Use TAB to move around the buttons. In the Ideas Box, use TAB, UP and DOWN ARROWS and ENTER to move around the tabs. Use LEFT and RIGHT ARROWS to move through images. Use the RIGHT and LEFT ARROWS to select a reel to put ideas into.
