The Cobbler : A scenic slideshow
BBC radio producer Sean Purser, a friend and their dog witness a spectacular temperature inversion as they climb The Cobbler.

The images which they took during their climb have been set to music, resulting in an atmospheric slideshow.
At 884m (2900ft) Beinn Artair is a Corbett. Located in the Arrochar Alps near the head of Loch Long, it is a popular climb which offers spectacular views and a challenging scramble at the summit.
The origins of the hill's common name of The Cobbler are explained in a video featuring climber Claire Macleod, recorded for BBC Scotland Landward in December 2007.
