Honey bee 'waggle dance'

The Scottish Beekeepers Association is demonstrating the role of the honey bee to groups of school children and other visitors to the Honey Pavilion at the Royal Highland Show.



One of the topics the children learn about is the way in which bees communicate. Children are taught the 'waggle dance', used by bees to show each other where to locate a source of nectar.
