Camping in Scotland

Camping

One of the best ways to experience the scenery of Scotland is to go camping. There are numerous campsites across the country, some of which are open all year round. Camping experiences can range from a night in a bivvy bag in the mountains to a budget family break, complete with kitchen sink.

In choosing where to camp you might like to consider location, facilities, food, whether animals are permitted, barbeque facilities or access to a local outdoors activity.

Your camping comments

We'd like to hear your views from the campsite floor. Have you found the perfect spot to pitch? Or did you discover hell on earth while camping in the midst of a cloud of midges?

Contact us with your tips, tales, photos or even videos of you camping in paradise, or the pits!

Please read our Terms and Conditions before submitting your photos.
