Dougie Vipond visits Arran to find out how former chef Robin Gray turned a sloping patch of coastal land into a successful site producing vegetables and herbs for the gourmet market.
Inspired by his father's vegetable patch and childhood holidays on the island, Robin takes advantage of the warming effects of the Gulf Stream. He grows organic herbs and vegetables on terraced beds, using seaweed collected on the beach below.
