SOUTH SCOTLAND

St Abbs
Stunning cliff scenery on a wild, indented coast supporting large colonies of breeding kittiwakes, fulmars, guillemots, razorbills, shags and puffins and spectacular spring flora. The steep cliffs drop into clear waters of the sea attracting underwater diving enthusiasts to its varied marine life.

Location: Visitor centre in St.Abbs village. Take B6438 from A1.

Facilities: Parking at Northfield Farm, and at Pettico Wick and Lighthouse. Nature centre with coffee shop open April to October, guided NTS ranger-led walks by arrangement. Track along cliff top from St Abbs to St Abb's Head and Pettico Wick - great care required.
