The Dykeenies are a New Wave indie rock band formed in mid-2005 in Cumbernauld, Scotland. The band is composed of brothers Alan Henderson, Andrew Henderson and Brian Henderson, alongside childhood friends Steven Ramsay and John Kerr. The band took their name from the 1988 George Lucas and Ron Howard film Willow (although the film script spells the word "daikinis").
