John Purser introduces about death and the worlds to come, including several rare recordings of 20th century Scottish works.
These include the first modern performance of Erik Chisholm’s orchestral Pictures from Dante with the BBC SSO, a unique recording from Cecil Gray’s opera The Temptation of St Anthony and part of Thomas Wilson’s opera Confessions of a Justified Sinner from 1978.
