Episode 13. Mingulay - Hearing an Island

Mingulay VillageIts last inhabitants left in 1912 (unless you count sheep), but they left behind more than just the famous Mingulay Boat Song, which was actually written decades later. John Purser hears songs of swans and fairies, Kishmul’s Galley and the battle cry of the McNeils.
