  Banjo player Éamonn is at the festival with the band Russell’s House, while Kris celebrates his newly classic album Black Water. Here’s a chance to catch them together.

• The Heidi Talbot Band

  Heidi appears at this year’s festival both as featured vocalist with Cherish The Ladies and – as here – in her own right, backed by John McCusker, Boo Hewerdine, John Joe Kelly and Ewen Vernal.

• The Michael McGoldrick Band

  Mancunian master Michael McGoldrick’s breathtaking flute, whistles and uilleann pipes will be backed by an impressive group, including several of his Capercaillie bandmates.

• The Packway Handle Band

  A five-piece from Athens, Georgia, on their first visit to Scotland. Find out why their close-harmony old-time music has been causing a stir in bluegrass circles.
