Claire McCallum is the Learning Officer for BBC Scotland Learning.
Claire previously studied and taught at the University of Glasgow, where she finally realised that learning is not about instruction, but about dialogue. She hopes to start a conversation between learners and our content at the BBC, starting with this blog.
Her Mastermind 'specialist subject' is the life and works of the Scottish poet William Soutar... she hopes to finish off her PhD on this topic very soon. Apart from this, she is a pretty decent cook and a self-confessed gadget geek.
Keep up with Claire's blog updates and drop her an email anytime, or say a hello to @clara_mac on Twitter.
