There are a whole host of them. I like writers who write for children... they have a really challenging job.
Always work with animals and children... says the woman who was sat on by a St. Bernard's dog during a photo shoot (ouch)!
Keep smiling and have a big bag of sweeties for when the going gets tough.
Radio Producer
Finding and working with script writers, auditioning and casting actors, recording inserts for the programmes, choosing sound effects, working with studio engineer to record the actors in studio, post producing the studio material (adding layers of sound effects/ music etc). Delivering the end results for copying onto CDs for schools.
Good script, great team (including actors) and a sense of humour!
Worked on a whole variety of radio programmes doing everything from presenting, producing to making the tea! Also producing online sites across all age groups (tweenies to teens). I have also written for the childrens TV series Balamory!
China radio programmes of course. Great scripts and fun to work on. We had a great new drama studio to work in this time... so I changed one of the scripts a bit to allow us to use the gravel in the studio to run on... well if you've got it...
