Work Biography

I was studying Gaelic at Aberdeen University with an eye to be a Gaelic primary school teacher. I started at the BBC on a work experience placement during the Uni summer holidays in 2005. It lasted ten weeks and i was working as a trainee broadcast journalist in the newsroom in Inverness, primarily for the Gaelic radio service Radio nan Gaidheal. I left halfway through teacher taining and did holiday cover at the newsroom off and on until September '07 when I started a contract as a trainee video journalist for the new Gaelic Digital channel. In the meantime I acted in the first Gaelic feature length film, 'Seachd', in 2006. Unfortunately my contribution was cut out of the film but apparently I'm on the DVD in the deleted scenes bit!
