1st and 2nd March
Some of Jo's radio schedule notes.

Jo and Irene : Hold auditions at PQ, in the the L.A.B. - learn @ BBC Scotland - for the child character parts.

Esme : Sits in on Jo's auditions on the 2nd to gain more experience of auditioning children. She learns a tip from Jo - bring plenty of sweets for the actors!

Esme also ends up finding a terrific child actor - who made a big impression on her - for one of the parts in the 'Getting To Know You' programmes!

3rd March

Irene : Sends letters to the successful cast members' schools requesting time off for the actors for future recording dates. She also applies to local authorities for child licences. This has to be done about 6 weeks before the recording will begin, because it can take that length of time to get them back from the authorities.

Jo : Goes to Bellahouston Sports Centre to record a package for the sports programmes with a very talented young gymnast who is tipped to do well in 2014 in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

5th March

Jo : Records vox pops at Sandaig Primary School, Glasgow, for a package about having respect for your elders for the radio programme, 'Ghost 2'.

Jargon

Vox pops : A collection of short, quickly edited opinions from various sources - this time it was from pupils in the school.
