Jo : Meets with Louise Ironside and Raymond Ross to talk about story themes, number of characters, story inserts and deadlines.
Louise will write the 2 programmes for 10-12 year olds about food, Raymond will write the 2 programmes about sport. Jo wants the writers to think about the ideas and structure, but most importantly come up with 'cracking' stories.
The writers are given a first draft deadline of BBC week 11 (week starting 8th March). The final draft will be required by the following week, BBC week 12.
Jo : Has first of several meetings with the Contracts Department. This department deals with contracts and payments of writers, contributors and actors. They also sort out copyright issues.
