Enthusiastic meeting!

Today Gerald and I had a meeting with two teachers, Irene and Liz, to talk about what else we should put onto the website.

It was a really good meeting because both Irene and Liz were really enthusiastic about the website and had lots of ideas. This is one of my favourite parts of my job - meeting up with people who have different areas of speciality and who are keen to communicate all the things they are interested in with all the people who'll be using our website!

Irene and Liz also had a sneak preview of what the TV programmes will be like when they're finished! They both thought the programmes were great - and watching them will help them suggest what other subjects we could cover on the website.

All the TV programmes have a main theme each, but they all touch on other areas of interest too, and they also have alot of common themes. This is one of the things we discussed in the meeting. Gerald and Maria have made the TV programes hoping to make people think - not just about the main themes but also about lots of interlinking ideas too. This is an area where the website could be very interesting - helping our visitors explore ideas the programmes have made them think about.

Irene and Liz are going to get back to us next week with their ideas. After that we'll be able to start researching and hopefully find some more interesting stories!
