Carn Liath sits 10km north-east of Blair Atholl in Perth and Kinross. Although the smallest of the three munros of the Beinn a'Ghlo group, Carn Liath has the most prominent position and can be easily seen from the A9 as it passes through the Pass of Killiecrankie.
